I don't have the answers for why some Christians receive their physical healing here on earth and others on the other side of heaven but what I do know is that regardless, I trust in GOD, fully by faith for all of our needs and I won't stop believing from this earthly body right into my glorious one! Amen!
The Bible tells us that without faith it's impossible to please GOD [Hebrews 11:6], therefore we must come with faith like that of a child and ask GOD to heal us. He is the LORD that heals us! Pray, ask and thank Him and keep on thanking Him! Pray for the manifestation of the healing that Jesus provided for us on the cross. He overcame sin, sickness and death for all who believe in Him! He has given to us life and life more abundantly [John 10:10 Amplified version]. I stand on that promise!
Now, many of us are quick to accept what the Doctor says and take the various medications they prescribe to us. I am not saying that we shouldn't pray and get the help that is needed medically. I believe God has given us Dr.'s to help us as well. However, why do we so easily place our faith in Doctors (and other things in life...jobs, people, relationships) but not in GOD as Christians? We can't just say that we believe in GOD and His Word YET not feed on His Word and apply it to our lives by faith while trusting that GOD is working in our lives and in our situation.
Part of an intimate relationship with the LORD is ingesting His Word and praying. Prayer is not a one way conversation. It's not a monologue but a dialogue. It's a divine privilege that GOD has given us through Christ, to come boldly to the Throne and receive the mercy and grace we need. Read Hebrews 4 about Jesus our High Priest! Pray and also listen for that still small voice in your spirit. Give God thanks even as you wait for the manifestation of healing. Meditate on what the Bible says about your situation. Speak and confess the Word. Keep positive, healthy thoughts and words and no matter what you may feel or see (your circumstance) don't lose hope and don't focus on the problem but rather JESUS who is the solution. Avoid the nay sayers. Don't be rude or disrespectful to anyone however, you have been given a God-given right through Christ's blood to believe in GOD and to believe GOD (two different things and both important), and to stand on His Word. The enemy will use the weaknesses and fears of others and even your own fears to attempt to sway your stance. Don't allow it. Keep steady in prayer and in the Word.
It is not always easy to do those things which I listed in the paragraphs above. There are times when the enemy will attack you with discouragement, doubt, fear and even attempt to deceive you and tell you that your situation will NEVER change that is why it's so important for you to ingest the Word, speak it and believe it with your whole heart. Surround yourself with people who love GOD and you; people who will pray for and with you and keep you encouraged in the love and hope of the LORD while you face your situation.
I believe that GOD can use medicine, all natural items or touch us supernaturally to heal so pray, trust, obey and wait on Him. Trust His leading. At times He will lead us to make some changes in our lives in order to cooperate with His word and receive our healing. Do it. Surround yourself with people who will affirm and encourage you in the faith. Ask your Pastor or the Elders of your church to pray for you. There is Scriptural basis for that (James 5:14-16). Ask those whom the LORD leads you to in the Faith; to intercede in prayer for you and YOU pray and keep on praying and trusting GOD! Most important, while you are trusting GOD in your situation do something kind for someone else. Often when we take our eyes off of our own troubles and focus on helping someone else we look up and find our situation resolved by the LORD.
